Band Saw Project [Update 3]
I built a band saw stand from old lumber, a speaker cabinet, mechanics wire, a hinge and a spring. It went from this which sat on a saw horse type stand.

I’m really happy with how everything came out and I’m glad I stuck with using the speaker cabinet. Here are more pictures.
