I have a solar-powered LED motion light that I have had to replace at least 2 previous times as the light sensor continues to stop working after about 2 weeks of use. Anyways hopefully third time’s the charm and to give it the best possible chance in surviving I have coated the PCB circuit boards in Dielectric Grease. This should help protect the circuitry from moisture, corrosion and things like static shock. The grease can be spread with a paint brush.
The light in question is a Sunforce 45 LED Solar Motion Light which I purchased at Lowes and I would have recommended it but it keeps fuck’en breaking ! (…it is a bright LED light though). If I kept the receipt I think I would have just returned the light, but I lost it so I can only “exchange” it.
